Dependable, Guaranteed Service
Since 1980, some of the biggest names in the petroleum and petrochemical industry have relied on Jordan Technologies, to keep their environmental control equipment in top working order.
We have earned our customer's trust by coming through time after
time, by performing solid preventative maintenance work, by responding
immediately to emergency shutdowns and by being available 24 hours
a day to answer questions and concerns.
Expertise You Can Count On.
At Jordan Technologies, we understand how
unexpected downtime can impact your bottom line.
That is why we do every job right the first time. That is
why we hand-pick each of our field technicians, put them
through a rigorous equipment and safety training
program and provide frequent refresher training.
Jordan's VRU service division specializes in servicing and rebuilding:
- Activated carbon systems
- Vacuum pump, actuators and valves
- Thermal oxidation systems
- Continuous Emissions Monitors
- Additive injection systems
In support of major rebuilds, Jordan also has a portable combustor available to keep you up and running during the rebuild or upgrade process.
Nobody knows vapor recovery equipment like we do. In fact, we
created technologies now considered the industry standard, including:
- Improved filtering technology for the coolant system of carbon adsorption units.
- Improved, custom blended seal fluid for the coolant systems to prevent premature fowling and rusting.
- On-site carbon screening with testing to determine carbon efficiency.
- Carbon pre-conditioning. Our patented technology for preparing virgin carbon significantly minimizes terminal loading downtime.
- Vacuum pump rebuilding. We are available to rebuild and fully test in our factory all types of vacuum pumps. In addition, on-site vacuum pump capacity testing can be performed.
- Enhanced control packages to improve equipment reliability and diagnosis of problems.
Preventative Maintenance
It is essential to keep your vapor recovery machinery in top working order if you expect to comply with the Emissions Control Standards and maximum terminal loading capacity. A preventative maintenance service contract is an economical way to ensure that your plant remains up and running.
Contract with Jordan Technologies, and we will perform all
required maintenance work at required intervals. We also offer an
enhanced maintenance package, "Pro-Link", in which Jordan
can remotely monitor VRU performance and diagnose potential problems
before they shut your unit down.
Emergency Service
Emergency shutdowns receive our top priority. We will return your
call immediately. Because we have fully equipped technicians strategically
located worldwide, we can typically get a technician to your site
within a few hours. Jordan also carries an extensive parts inventory
for emergency shipping 24 hours a day. You can trust our vapor recovery
technicians to solve your problem. They are the best trained, most
experienced professionals in the field. Jordan Technologies,
was the first to locate field technicians in strategic locations
worldwide in order to minimize customers' downtime and expenses.
Automation
Jordan's upgraded state-of-the-art PLC control package with an
alarm system not only shuts the unit down, but identifies the specific
malfunction and stores shutdown alarm history for accurate historical
trending. The system provides detailed shutdown alarms for quick
troubleshooting purposes, (i.e., vent valve A failed to close) minimizing
downtime.
This system comes with an expanded shut down and warning list of up to 38 different shut down monitoring devices versus the conventional systems on the market today that offer 8 shut downs. This increases the safety and efficiency of the VRU, and greatly decreases trouble shooting downtime.
An electro-luminescent touch sensitive panel, which comes with the PLC upgrade, provides complete operation interface to the vapor recovery skid. No longer do boxes have to be unbolted and opened, wire jumpers inserted or extra connections made in order to trouble shoot a system.
100% functional testing can be completed from the operator interface panel. All systems variables and PLC I/O status can be monitored and timer tuning adjustments made to critical set points from this panel.
All PLC shutdowns are tabularized and stored in non-volatile memory by the operator interface for the previous 30 events. This event history is available for operator inspection and trending analysis in resolving intermittent faults. This feature can significantly reduce system downtime while troubleshooting these annoying intermittent shutdowns.
All electrical controlled equipment can be operated by the interface screen, all on ground level for quick, easy and safe trouble shooting. All internal timers can be changed on site without computer hook-ups or new operational computer chips.
Additionally, Jordan's service technicians are supported by our
Engineering staff and Process Control groups to handle whatever
situation that may arise. Fast, dependable service and competitive
rates. That is what Jordan has offered for over 22 years to the
petrochemical industry.
