Jordan Technologies is pleased to offer a Portable Thermal Oxidizing
System for use in destruction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)
at terminal loading facilities. This Portable Thermal Oxidizing
System is also capable of tank de-gassing operations as well. This
summary outlines the various features offered by Jordan Technologies
for an enclosed vapor thermal oxidizing system designed for safe,
efficient and smokeless operation.
The proposed unit includes the following:
A combustion stack, which is a horizontal carbon steel cylinder
lined with ceramic fiber refractory. Included with the combustion
stack are the following:
- Specifically designed burners to prevent flash back
- Pilot assemblies to ignite the waste gas
- Assist - air blower
- Separate quench air blower
- De-gassing blower, which can be isolated when not in use
- Detonation arrester with one (1) temperature element
- High performance butterfly valves, used to "state" the flow
of waste gas to the burners
- Control logic configured around a PLC (programmable logic controller)
- Temperature management system with automatically adjustable
air dampers and control valve to provide the assist gas control.
Note that in some cases, assist gas may not be required.
- Stack temperature recording capabilities where required by the
customer or regulatory agencies
The vapor thermal oxidizing unit will b capable of performing,
as designed, throughout the entire range of 600 gpm to 7,700 gpm
equivalent vapor flow.
The packaged unit is assembled and requires a minimum of setup
time and site preparation. A number of equipment items, such as
gauges and flexible inlet hose, will be removed from self-contained
storage and will be field connected by others. It is generally the
responsibility of the customer to provide the supply of natural
gas or propane for pilot and assist gas.
The Portable Thermal Oxidizing System also carries a full range
of spare parts in order to minimize downtime.
